Two spraying methods for basalt stone
There are many ways to make basalt stone, besides the ordinary methods, there are also two commonly used spraying methods to deal with basalt stone. You may not be familiar with these two methods.Below,we will briefly introduce the two spraying methods for basalt stone
1.Fissure jet
Generally speaking,it forms a large area of flooded basalt material, and the fractured injection channels typically display a set of rock walls with similar composition to basalt, but they are often obscured by later rock flows and are not easily detected. The Emeishan basalt widely distributed in southwestern China is an example.Formed in the late Permian period, with an area of approximately 260000 square kilometers and a typical thickness of 600-1500 meters, exceeding 3000 meters in the west.It belongs to the basalt class and is clearly rich in titanium dioxide. In flood prone basalt, the uniform thickness of a single rock flow is about 10-100 meters, and the flow interval can reach 100-150 kilometers or more.Basalt in a region is usually composed of several or dozens of jets, with intervals between jets that can last for hundreds of thousands of years.
2.Intermediate jet
The lava flows and volcanic debris rocks that make up the basalt volcanic cones and their adjacent areas cover a vast area in eastern China, from Heilongjiang to Hainan Island in the north. It is a complex rock area mainly composed of alkaline basalt and tholeiitic basalt, with the Cenozoic era dominated by intermediate eruptions.
You can have a brief understanding of the two spraying methods for basalt stone materials introduced above.
